Tip of the Day: August 2, 2015: When exercising, be motivated by the scenery around you, even if it’s the fitness equipment at the gym. Recognize that your surroundings are just as much apart of your experience as your muscles are. #sarahnsays
Side note: When you walk up stairs you engage numerous muscles, including the hip flexors in your hips and thighs, the gluteus medius on your outer thighs the gluteus maximus in your butt and the quadriceps group in the front and back of each thigh. Muscles in your lower back and calf and shin area are also being engaged.
