Sarahn Says Travel + Life Tip #5: Keep it moving.
I mean that in every way. Whether it’s a disagreement with a friend, a little homesickness or a day of hopelessly lying in bed. There is no need to stay feeling down about anything, at least not for more than a few hours. ‘Ain’t nobody got time for that…’ especially when you have so much to be happy about. Not only are there many things all around you to put a smile on your face, but in the process of focusing your energy elsewhere, you will find clarity and assurance that will make you feel better. There is too much to explore and experience, so do yourself a favor and don’t let it slow you down. Phone home, take a good nap, even have a cry if that’s what you need. It works for me! Afterwards, if you’re not completely back in good spirits, find enough energy and will power to move into another space, a better space. Don’t try to convince yourself that it’s not that simple…yes it is. You have the power. Make it easier on yourself by not entertaining the negativity for too long. Do not fool yourself into thinking that it’s where you want to be, and never start believing that it’s where you want to stay. Keep it moving. #sarahnsays
