  1. Wow! I enjoy your perspective of the review. I do think that it teaches you to be aware of yourself in the moment, which in a way is self-centered. I guess the goal is to train your mind to be open to the flow of occurrences around you which can also lead to a passive acceptance. I’m glad you brought that to my attention. I never saw it that way. I do however believe that one my but in a certain mindset to gain a lot from this text. It’s really more about letting go out doubt and worry, which is a powerful move anyone can make. Thank you!!


  2. Well I really loved your presentation of the book. As for its premise, not so much. I am too religious, too political, too connected to the other inhabitants on this planet to be quite so self-focused. I also think that believing everything happens for a reason can lead some people into a passive acceptance of dreadful events. I think sometimes the reason is evil and we should resist it. Anyway, he probably foresaw all these objections!
