  1. Very thoughtful review. Loved that you are a library girl since I just came home from there. I read that book too many years ago and did struggle with the dialect. Thanks for the tip about Ruby Dee’s performance. I had no idea that there were audiobooks on You Tube. The history of black towns in Florida is fascinating and a good addition to the book. An old book of hers was just released. Have you seen it?

    1. Having fun isn’t hard, when you’ve got a library card! 🙂 Yes Elizabeth! the world of YouTube is filled with amazing discoveries, including the audiobooks to many popular texts! Ruby Dee saved me! I don’t think I have seen the release of the old book. What is the title of the text?
