I asked my friends Sydni and Kaelyn to join me in the studio.

Check out this video below of me leaving my listeners with tips for the New Year! Try them out and share with friends!

Sarahn Says Travel + Life Tip #10: Celebrate your alone time.

How beautiful is the freedom that comes with being human, being alive, and being…YOU?! And all the discoveries that come along with taking time to learn more about yourself; what excites you, what motivates you, what brings light to your life on the darkest of days. Discover it openly and freely, all with only you in mind. Take time away from everyone and make some “me, myself and I” moves to the moon. Don’t want to step into solitude? Not to worry. Life will take you there. So when it does and you find yourself standing all alone, celebrate your alone time. It’s some of the best time you’ll have in life! Spend your time doing what you like to do without having to compromise for others. You don’t have to worry about filtering someone else’s energy through yours. Move at your own pace and take in everything around you at the exact speed you wish to. Step and move freely into your independence. And let go of that FOMO (fear of missing out). Get what you need from every moment and don’t miss a move while dancing to the beat of your own drum. #sarahnsays

Sarahn Says Travel + Life Tip #8: Get comfortable asking for direction.

If you’re making the most of your time away, chances are you’re moving around a lot. That’s great! Keep it moving. With all the excitement around you, it’s in your best interest to take it all in while the opportunity is presenting itself. All the places you’re going, and things you’ll see, surely it’s a great time to be alive. Things are new and you’re excited to get going but you might not know the safest, fastest or most efficient way to get there, or even the right direction to move towards. Luckily, the universe places people and things around us to help us when we are in need. Sometimes we don’t want to stop a stranger or ask for more clarity from a mentor, usually in fear of appearing helpless or needy. But it’s okay! It’s okay to not know, it’s okay to need assistance and it’s okay to know you need assistance.  Sometimes you’ll be able to figure it out on your own even if it means getting lost along the way. Sometimes you’ll have to stop and turn back, or pause and look around. Those moments teach you about how resilient you are and remind you that you can eventually find the answers in time. But there’s nothing wrong with learning about how resourceful you can be, by relying on things around you. You can save yourself time, energy and effort — and avoid danger, by using resources that are designed to help you. And you can learn just as much the easy way when you get comfortable asking for direction. #sarahnsays

Sarahn Says Travel + Life Tip #6: Explore your creative side.

You’re living your life just like everyone else, except…you’re exploring the world! Maybe in a new book, a new job or a new relationship! If you’re like me, in a new country. So take this opportunity to explore your creative side in the process. Question your normal way of thinking and give energy to ideas that challenge the status quo. Allow outside images and words to fill your head up with exciting and adventurous possibilities. Manifest your creative side by taking down your thoughts when they come to you, no matter where you are! You can use your phone’s microphone or notes app, or carry around a pen and small notepad if you’re feeling really crafty. Explore new music styles, take a dancing class, spend some time drawing, or visit a side of the city you’ve haven’t been to yet. Discover new elements of the world as you currently know it. Exploring your creative side is a perfect way to spend your time. It strengthens your mind, expands your awareness and throws you deep into your imagination. Open yourself up to all the art outside, and allow it to inspire the artist inside. #sarahnsays
